Happy New Year from all of us here at Sculpterra Winery & Sculpture Garden. We thank you for your patronage and wish you all a healthy and prosperous 2012.
The Holiday Season can be a hectic time with lots of parties to attend and family from both near and far visiting the area. Reward yourself this January by taking advantage of some wonderful offerings on a number of our favorite wines.
Perhaps you have shared some of your wines from Sculpterra with friends and family over the last year. Refer a friend to our wine club and receive the winemaker’s pick to enjoy now or cellar and enjoy in the future.
The barrel room is full with a set schedule to bottle in February but the music must play on!
Steve key presents, “Songwriter’s at Play” every Sunday from 1 – 4 pm - subject to rain/weather - please check in with us prior to coming out. Listen to “Key Moments” on the KRUSH 92.5 every Monday night from 6 -7 pm and Fridays from 1 – 2 pm.
NOW is a good time to join one of our Wine Clubs. The next wine club shipment will take place in early December with Collector’s Club members set to receive the 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2008 Maquette. Cabernet Connection will receive the 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 vintages of Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as the 2007 Reserve Cab and 2008 Maquette. We’d like to ask our Jagger’s Case Club members to please submit your case selection at your earliest convenience, so that we can set your wines aside for you for December shipment.

February - Every Sunday from 1 – 4 pm, Steve Key presents “Songwriters at Play”

February 11th and 12th: Celebrate Valentines Weekend at Sculpterra and receive a complimentary tasting for two. Sample our very fine Port styled desert wine and enjoy all the special treats in our chocolate fountains.
February 11th, Stampede members come out to sample our wines prior to tip off, supporting Cal Poly Basketball, game time 6pm.
February 25th & 26th, 12pm to 5pm, North County Home, Garden and Gourmet expo at the Paso Robles Event Center. Come by and say hi and sample some of wines.
March - Every Sunday from 1 – 4 pm, Steve Key presents “Songwriters at Play”
March 7th to March 11th, SLO International Film Festival– Sculpterra Winery to pour at the King Vidor Grand Event at 8pm, check www.slofilmfest.org for details
March 16 – 18, Zinfandel Festival – Join us March 17th from 12pm to 4pm for a Greek Celebration at Sculpterra Winery with traditional Greek Dancers, authentic Greek food, and from Los Angeles the Greek band Synthesi! $25 per person includes lunch and entertainment / wine club = free, call to reserve your space – this event will sell out.
March 17th – Zinfandel Festival Grand Tasting at the Paso Robles Event Center 7pm to 9:30pm.
March 24th – SLO Food Bank Fundraiser from 1 to 4 pm at Sculpterra Winery, details to follow.
March 31st – Artistry in Motion, Contemporary Art & Dance Fundraiser from 1 to 4pm, details to follow.

April 21st – 1pm to 4pm, Sculpterra Winery and Return to Freedom present – “Spirit in Spring” an Annual Fundraiser for Return to Freedom, American Wild Horse Sanctuary here at Sculpterra Winery. May 18th – 20th, Paso Robles Wine Festival weekend.
May 19th from 12pm – 4pm. A Rockin’ Country style Celebration with our wine makers band, Candle and local act, Narrow Road. Santa Maria style BBQ and wine – this is going to be a great day! $25.00 per person includes lunch and entertainment / complimentary for wine club members. Please RSVP to 226.8881
May 19th from 4pm – 7pm. Cal Poly Athletics, the eleventh annual Mustang Madness Dinner and Auction, It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere” at the Alex Madonna Expo Center to raise funds to support over 550 student athletes. Sculpterra Winery will be a featured winery / supporter for this event.
May 26th from 7pm to 9:30pm. Great Western Bike Rally wine pouring at the Paso Robles Event Center.
June - Every Sunday from 1 – 4 pm, Steve Key presents “Songwriters at Play”

About Dean Crawford Jr.: After majoring in Art and Design in college Dean began his career as an illustrator at Mt. San Jacinto College, in the Multi Media Program. Dean developed Instructional Media for classroom use and photography was a big part of his daily duties. In 1978 Dean moved to San Luis Obispo, working as a graphic artist at Cal Poly State University. During this time, he also taught Graphic Design at Cuesta College and illustrated children's books.
Enjoying more free time after retirement, this award winning artist and photographer has again picked up his camera, digital this time! He now travels the back roads on his scooter in search of those unusual places and scenes in our local country side. Hopefully, you'll enjoy his photography and the images you see.
